Must See Christmas Movies

I know It’s only November 8th, but I am SO excited for Christmas and I’m probably not the only one. I love watching Christmas movies and I wanted to share my favourites and the one’s that are a must see.

  1. Elf

If you haven’t seen Elf yet… Where have you been?! It is my all time favourite Christmas movie! This movie came out 15 years ago (crazy right!) and is the perfect family Christmas movie. It has so many classic lines/scenes (Buddy on an escalator… I feel like I look like that) and I guarantee you will feel the Christmas spirit after you finish watching it!

2. How The Grinch Stole Christmas

This movie is definitely a classic and before we saw the live-action version of the movie, we all read the Dr. Seuss book as a kid. Jim Carrey did an amazing job playing the Grinch in this movie and the ending was the best. This week you’ll be able to see the newest animated version of the film in theatres. It’s called “The Grinch” and I’m pretty excited to see it!

3.  W Network & Hallmark Channel

If you’ve ever wanted to watch a Christmas movie, you’ll know that the ultimate place to watch one would be the W Network and the Hallmark Channel. Every year there are new movies released and most are very cheesy, but so good. I promise you will find more than one Christmas movie that you’ll love!

4. The Nutcracker

I remember watching the Barbie in The Nutcracker version of this movie and I still love it to this day. It’s such a cute story and since that movie came out there have been multiple versions of the movie. Just recently Disney released their own film called “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” and it has a unique twist to it. I have yet to see it, but I love anything to do with the Nutcracker (the ballet was amazing too) and I can’t wait to watch it!

5. The Christmas Story

The Christmas Story is another classic Christmas movie that our parents watched as kids and now it’s being passed down to each generation. There’s so much excitement that goes on in this movie and it’s not your typical holiday film, but that’s what makes it unique. If you happen to have seen a leg lamp in a window lately, I promise you it will all make sense after you watch this movie.

I hope you enjoy all of these Christmas movies over the holidays and find a new favourite to enjoy every year with your family and friends!
