Things To Do In Massachusetts

I go to Fall River, Massachusetts once a year and I always have the best time! If you ever make your way over there, please do yourself a favour and check out these amazing places!

The first thing you have to do when you get there (especially after an 8-10 hour drive) is stop at Dunkin’ Donuts. I love going to get coffee from there and I always get a French Vanilla Iced Coffee. It’s SO good!

Fall River, Massachusetts is super close to Rhode Island too! You should definitely cross the state line and head over to Newport Beach. It’s a really nice beach with an area where you can buy lunch and some treats. I go there every time I’m in Massachusetts and I collect some seashells while I’m enjoying the cool ocean water. Everyone will have a blast and it’s a definite go to place!

If you’re looking for a good burger and fries, then Sonic is the perfect spot! I’ve always wanted to go to Sonic and see the employees deliver your food to your car on roller blades. Well they still do that now and it was so cool! I ordered their cheeseburger and it was amazing! It was the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had! I also ordered their tater tots instead of fries and you can’t go wrong with those! They recently opened in Massachusetts, so if you need some good food… Head on over to one of the coolest restaurants ever!

Then you have to have dinner at the one and only… OLIVE GARDEN! All you can eat salad, soup, and bread sticks?! You can’t go wrong with that! I always have their pasta (their Seafood Alfredo is my favourite) and this time I ordered their Cheese filled Gnocchi Alfredo and I have one word to describe it… YUM! I wish they still had locations in Canada… I’d be there all of the time!

Ok, now I have to tell you about my absolute favourite place in Massachusetts… BOSTON! I love love love Boston! It’s such a nice city to visit and it’s so much fun! You can take a nice walk by the water and see so many cute shops. There are street performers on every corner and they’re so talented! But you have to make your way over to the Quincy Market and check out all of their gift shops and specialty stores. I bought a cute Boston Red Sox baseball cap (sorry Nick) and a long sleeve Harvard University shirt (I always buy Harvard clothing when I’m in Boston). I guarantee you won’t leave without buying something!

To top it all off, you have to stop at Somerset Creamery. The ice-cream there is freshly made and it’s SOOO yummy! I ordered a Cookie Dough Milkshake and it was one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had! You can’t go wrong with an ice-cream on a hot summer night!

I hope you get a chance to check out all of these places I’ve mentioned and have a great time in Massachusetts! I promise you won’t be disappointed! Massachusetts is one of my favourite places to visit in the USA and I wish I could visit more often.

Enjoy! xo
