I have always LOVED movies and it’s a career goal of mine to work in the movie industry. But when I was a teenager I was OBSESSED with romance movies. I could try to name all of my favourites… But that list would never end. Here are a few that I think every hopeless romantic should watch.
1. Charlie St. Cloud
I honestly think this was the moment where Zac Efron became one of my favourite actors. He did such an amazing job playing his character and without him this movie wouldn’t be the same. If you love a good movie about hope, sailing, family, and romance then this movie is for you. This was also the first time I was introduced to the actress Amanda Crew and she had such great chemistry with Zac Efron. These two actors made this movie so special and you will want to watch it over and over again.
2. That Awkward Moment
I love this movie and I think I’ve watched it over 5 times… Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller make this movie romantic, but at the same time you get a good laugh too. It’s a movie about three best friends trying not to get into relationships. It’s also interesting to see three male actors play roles that would normally be played by females. It’s not your typical romance, which is what makes this movie even better. That Awkward Moment is such a great movie and both guys and girls would enjoy this movie.
3. 13 Going on 30
This movie is my favourite Jennifer Garner movie of all time! She does such a great job playing her character and she has great chemistry with Mark Ruffalo. This movie will make you want to grow up quickly, but only if it guaranteed you a job working for your favourite magazine. Jennifer Garner’s character quickly realizes that being an adult isn’t as great as it seems (seriously though) and ends up falling for her high school sweet heart. I highly recommend this movie and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
4. The Last Song
The Last Song will definitely make you feel every emotion possible. This movie was so well done and this is definitely my favourite Miley Cyrus movie. It was also the first time I saw Liam Hemsworth in a movie and I wasn’t disappointed. This film isn’t just about two people falling in love, it also shows a family learning how to love each other again too. Even though I cry every time I watch it, I will always love this movie. I can’t forget about the soundtrack either… It’s amazing!
I hope you enjoy these movies as much as I do! Happy watching!
