C’mon 2017, Show Me What You’ve Got

Helloooo 2017! I’ve been waiting for you! I’m so excited to see what wonderful opportunities and experiences you bring me.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person that thought 2016 wasn’t the greatest year… But there were a few pretty great things that did happen. I got my first job in the radio industry, I graduated from College (YAY!), and my boyfriend and I celebrated our one year anniversary. Ok, so maybe 2016 wasn’t thaaaat bad…

It was time to move on though… On to bigger and better things, friends!

I woke up on January 1st and I was literally so confused. I knew I wanted this new year to be a productive one and I wanted to try new things, but the question was HOW?

Well first of all, laying in bed all day wasn’t going to help anyone. I keep telling myself that this year will be great and I’m looking forward for what’s yet to come. Which is what EVERYONE should be thinking!

The reason why we don’t get things done and we don’t change anything in our lives is because of our negativity. C’mon people, we know better! Have your little pity party, but then snap out of it! That’s what I did and now we’re here.

One of the goals I have this year is to continue writing and make blogging a habit. I want to advance my career and get myself closer to getting my first full time job in the media industry (my biggest goal by far). Buy my first car! That’s been a goal of mine for so long and I want to be able to have a car to call my own (I’m sure my parents will appreciate not having to share anymore). I’ve got this!

I know it sounds like a lot to accomplish in a year, but I think I can do it. The first step to success is POSITIVITY. There were times where I was pretty negative last year and it got me… NO WHERE. I’ve definitely learned from my mistakes and I’m ready to redeem myself in 2017.

Let’s see how this goes. I’m excited to meet the unknown.
